Caspian Energy Club organizes business tour to Sheki

The Caspian Energy Club members have arranged a business tour to Sheki city and business facilities operating here. This was said by the Caspian Energy Club Chairman and CEO, Telman Aliyev.

On the first day of the business tour, the Caspian Energy Club members wishing to familiarize themselves with the tourism potential of Sheki, visited the Palace of Sheki Khans, the fortress walls, the upper caravanserai, the craftsmen house and the territory of the reserve.

Besides, they got closely acquainted with the activity of the Sheki Ceramics and Applied Art Center “ABAD”. In the course of the visit they met with the artists and exchanged views with them. As a result of this meeting, cooperation and projects that can be implemented jointly with the members of Caspian Energy Club were discussed.

The second day of the business tour started from the B2G forum. Participating in this forum was also the head of the Sheki City Executive Authority, Elkhan Usubov.
A visit to Azeripek LLC was arranged after the business forum. The Club members met with the head of the LLC Samad Nabiyev and specialists working here, as well as made their suggestion after familiarizing with the production process.

Accompanied by the head of the Green Factory LLC Zyaka Khanlarov, the business tour participants have been to the agrarian fields, viewed refrigeration systems and got acquainted with special logistics opportunities. At the end of the visit, Zyaka Khanlarov answered the questions of the Club members, discussed joint cooperation and suggestions made by the guests.

The next point of the business tour was the Sheki Tobacco LLC operating on basis of the Japanese investments and innovative technologies. In the course of the visit the participants made their proposals to Sheki Tobacco LLC’s director Azer Yusifov and shared opinions on cooperation.

The meeting with the founder and director of Bio Garden LLC Etibar Nuriyev was of great interest. The place which combined agro and ecotourism potential got a high appreciation of the Club members. Interesting suggestions were made in the course of the meeting, and primary discussions on cooperation were held.

“Sheki Sherab” wine factory was visited on the third day. Discussed were new opportunities of the factory in which a large amount of investments was made by the well known Russian entrepreneur Boris Titov. “Sheki Sherab” wine factory’s director Vidadi Hasanov shared his experience, briefed the participants about the production plan and new production lines. He answered the questions of the guests during the wine tasting ceremony, and assessed the cooperation proposals.

Ali Ahmad confectionery house was the final point of visit. The Club members closely viewed the production process. The guests had the pleasure of buying confectionery products for their family members and friends.

At the end of the business tour the Caspian Energy Club members expressed their deepest gratitude to the Sheki City Executive Authority.
