Landmines buried by Armenians for provocation in Lachin detected and neutralized, defense ministry says

The areas and the security roads mined by sabotage groups during the large-scale provocation of the Armenian armed forces are cleared by the engineering and fortification units of the Azerbaijan Army.

E-huquq.az informs, citing the Ministry of Defense, that as a result of demining activities carried out in Lachin region, 122 Э-001 М type anti-personnel mines manufactured in Armenia in 2021 were removed, transported and neutralized on September 18 in accordance with safety regulations in the ravine in the northeastern part of Beyuk Ishigli mountain.

Necessary measures for engineering support are underway in Azerbaijan's liberated areas.
