"Caspian Energy Club" member visit Turkey - PHOTO

The delegation composed of Azerbaijani entrepreneurs and headed by the Caspian Energy Club Chairman and CEO, Telman Aliyev, has joined the business tour made to Turkey. This was said by the press service of the Caspian Energy Club.

On the first day of the working visit, the members of the Caspian Energy Club and top managers, together with Turkish colleagues, got acquainted with the tourist opportunities of Istanbul and visited ‘Çalık Holding’. Held were meetings with Yahya Abdullahoglu, General Manager of CLK Logistics operating within Çalık Holding, Fatih Kemal Baris, Coordinator for Business Development and Trade, Tarik Jan, Coordinator for Business Proposals, as well as with Business Development Managers Mustafa Ergin Shafak and Eren Merzeji. Presentation of large-scale energy production projects, implemeneted worlwide by Çalık Holding, was made in the course of the meeting. Yahya Abdullahoglu was presented a membership certificate by the Caspian Energy Club Chairman and CEO, Telman Aliyev, and the gratitude letter by the Chairman of the Caspian Energy Türkiye, Suleyman Majidli. Then the participants of the meeting got acquainted with the tourist areas of Istanbul and continued negotiations at supper near the Istanbul strait. They discussed the steps which will be taken in the field of energy production and construction in Azerbaijan, mainly in the Karabakh region, as well as further implementation of projects in other neighboring countries within the framework of this cooperation.

The next day, the members of the Caspian Energy Club visited the city of Bursa. The city of Bursa, one of the leading industrial centers of Turkey, aroused great interest among entrepreneurs. Meetings with the Head of the Entrepreneurs Association of the Organized Industrial Zone of Demirtas Nilufer Cevikel, Board member Serdar Menemen, co-founders of Procolor company Mehmet Dogrul, Idris Dogrul, and CEO of Dikici Akif Dikiji took place in the course of the visit.

On the same day, the club members got acquainted with the production process at the ‘Kayaoglu tekstil’ factory. After a tour of the factory, one of the club members and the head of the Light Industry Committee, Tehran Aliyev, put forward his proposals for evaluating and applying Turkey's rich experience in the textile industry in Azerbaijan. The proposals were highly appreciated by the textile workers of Bursa, and a decision to take initial steps to implement them as soon as possible was taken.

During the business tour, together with the head of "Bursa Model Fabrika" Birol Aksel, the participants visited the laboratory of innovative technologies, examined new systems and got acquainted with new technological capabilities. At the end of the meeting, the members of the Caspian Energy Club got answers to the questions they asked. Besides, issues concerning joint cooperation were discussed and suggestions were made. The head of ‘Avtomatika Az’ Khalid Samedov, who was among the visitors, stressed the advantages of joint cooperation for the integration of systems implemented at the modular factory into industrial enterprises in which active production is carried out, and noted that this step can accelerate the process of modernization of enterprises in Azerbaijan.
BTSO energy efficiency center was the next place visited by the business tour participants. During the visit, the club members got acquainted with the new power systems, put forward their proposals and exchanged ideas about cooperation. Stressed was the importance of activating the functioning of such centers in our country in order to prevent the energy crisis, which is one of the biggest problems in the modern world, and to reduce losses. The Chairman of Caspian Energy Turkey, as well as the representative in the Caucasus region of one of the leading energy supply companies "Aggreko" Suleyman Mejidli shared his experience in working with energy monitoring systems that have already begun to be implemented in Azerbaijan, as well as with cogeneration-trigeneration systems. A common decision was made with the head of the center to expand further cooperation and exchange rich experience.

BUMESH Technics factory was the next facility visited by the Caspian Energy Club members. They were met here by Khabib Gochiyev, a young entrepreneur performing broad activity in Bursa. Here the club members got acquainted with the production process and exchanged ideas. This trip to the city of Bursa, the center of the automotive industry, demonstrated to the Azerbaijani entrepreneurs, visiting the facility, the importance of the mold design and its significance in the development of the industry. At the end of the day, the Caspian Energy Club delegation returned to Istanbul.

The next day, the Caspian Energy Club delegation attended the World Energy Congress and Exhibition. In the course of the forum, the club members held meetings with the General Manager of the electric power company "EÜAŞ" Izzet Alagez, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Ramazan Usta, General Manager of the Department of Coal Enterprises of Turkey Hassan Hussein Erdogan, Chairman of the Mining Council of Turkey Ibrahim Khalil Kirshan, General Manager of the company "Nuted" Yusuf Ceylan, as well as with many other responsible persons. Representatives of the fraternal country arranged a warm and friendly welcome to the management and members of the Club. It importance of the two countries’ friendship and business relations for our entry into foreign markets and meeting the needs of domestic markets was stressed. They expressed support for the activities of the club's office in Turkey and gave advice for active cooperation.

On the last day of the visit, members of the Caspian Energy Club held meetings with SOCAR's Chief Communications and Government Relations Manager Mikayil Yusifov, Manager of the Digital Communications and Analytics Group Teymur Jahangir and Coordinator of the Executive Group Nazim Iskenderov. Telman Aliyev, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Caspian Energy Club, highly appreciated the support provided to the employment and production sector by SOCAR Turkey, as the largest representative of economic cooperation between the two fraternal countries - Azerbaijan and Turkey. He noted that the work done by the company since its foundation in Turkey and the efforts of a young, energetic team on this path are an important step in our country's entry into the world oil-gas, petrochemicals and sustainable energy markets. Telman Aliyev also stressed the importance of SOCAR Turkey's support for the club's activities in Turkey.

Among the members of the Club, Gabil Mustafayev and Suleyman Majidli, founder and executive director of Vien Club, spoke about the high level of services they have provided in the oil and gas sector for many years and noted that through cooperation with SOCAR Turkey they will be able to apply this experience in the oil and gas sector, the boost of which is expected in Turkey.
The management of the Host Company and head of BHB Khayal Babayev discussed issues concerning marketing needs in the event of establishing cooperation in Azerbaijan.
