Training on "Basics of Commercial Disputes Between the Bank and the Customer" holds

A training for mediators was organized on February 25 at the initiative and organization of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, with the support of the Academy of Justice, the Mediation Council and the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA).

E-huquq.az reports that the training theme was "Basics of commercial disputes between the bank and the customer."

In the opening speech, Sima Yagubova, Member of the Board of the Mediation Council, stressed the importance of the training in the activities of mediators, and thanked the leadership and staff of the International Bank of Azerbaijan for organizing the training on behalf of the Mediation Council.

Vasif Ahmadov, Deputy Chairman of the IBA Board, as the initiator and organizer of the training, noted that the IBA regularly conducts events to improve financial literacy in society and is one of the corporate functions of the bank.
Also acting rector of the Academy of Justice of the Ministry of Justice Elchin Khalafov, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Banks Association Yunus Abdulov spoke about the dynamics of banking relations and the legal regulation of these relations, the need for a training theme and wished success to the participants.

27 mediators participated in the training and at the end of the training the participants were awarded certificates for their successful participation in the training.

During the training, the presentations focused on disputes arising from contracts with customers, settlements, card transactions, use of Internet Banking, etc. The specificity of potential disputes related to services was considered.

They clarified different points and answered the questions of the participants.
