Deputies organized excursion for the children of martyrs and veterans – PHOTO

On the occasion of June 1 - International Children's Day, excursion was organized for the children of martyrs and veterans living in Absheron and Sabirabad districts.

According to the e-huquq.az, the excursion was initiated by MPs Ramin Mammadov and Shahin Seyidzadeh.

The Alley of Honors was first visited during the excursion with the participation of deputies from Absheron-Gobustan No. 50 and Sabirabad second constituencies No. 64. The participants laid a wreath at the tomb of national leader Heydar Aliyev. Then the memory of prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was commemorated.

Then the deputies and the children who took part in the excursion came to the Alley of Martyrs. They commemorated Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and laid flowers at their graves. During the excursion, they also visited the Military Loot Park. The children got acquainted with the military equipment and ammunition taken from the enemy during the 44-day war in the open-air park.

At the end, a meeting of children with honored artist Bahram Bagirzadeh was held at the Baku Book Center. Satisfied with the excursion, the participants thanked the deputies for the attention and care.
