Azerbaijan reports 2,005 new coronavirus cases, 20 deaths

Over the past day, 2,005 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection cases were registered in Azerbaijan, and 1,011 people were treated and cured.

E-hquuq.az informs that according to the Operative Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, 20 people succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

So far, a total of 509,862 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the country, of which 481,696 have been treated, and 6,829 have died. The number of active patients was 21,337.

During the last day, 12,533 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 5,069,352 tests have been conducted so far.
