Mohammad Mokhber to exercise powers of president of Iran

Until the elections, the position of President Ibrahim Raisi will be performed by Iran's Vice President Mohammad Mokhber, e-huquq.az reports citing Iran's IRIB TV channel.

Noted that the government will operate continuously.

Recall that the helicopter carrying the country's President Ibrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Huseyn Amir Abdullahian and other officials crashed on May 19. As a result, passengers and crew members in the helicopter were killed.
