November 8- Victory Day to be non-working day in Azerbaijan

An amendment has been made to the labor code regarding Victory Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan, it has been reflected in the amendment proposed to the Labor code discussed at the meeting of the Milli Majlis held today, e-huquq.az reports.

According to the amendment, November 8 will be Victory Day every year.

Victory Day will be a holiday considered non-working day.

Note that the draft law comes from the decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated December 2, 2020 "On the establishment of the Day of Remembrance in the Republic of Azerbaijan."

The draft law was put to a vote and adopted.
