WHO recommends special risky groups in Azerbaijan to receive second booster dose

World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended people over 5 and suffering serious immunodeficiency receive a second booster dose, WHO told e-huquq.az.

Special risky groups including the elderly, medical workers, and pregnant women are recommended to receive the second booster dose.

According to WHO, countries should take these steps to provide additional protection, minimize the risk of serious infection, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19, and maximize durability of healthcare services.
