Ukrainian Defense Ministry on latest situation around Kyiv

Ukrainian fighter jet pilots shot down two Russian aircraft during an airstrike on Vasylkiv and Brovary, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said on Facebook, e-huquq.az informs.

"S-300 anti-aircraft missile divisions destroyed three aircraft. Thus, five enemy aircraft were neutralized. They are Su-30 and Su-35. The Buk M-1 anti-aircraft missile system also shot down an enemy helicopter near Kyiv.

Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft fired several rockets and bombs at armoured vehicles and enemy forces in Kyiv and Zhytomyr oblasts. The strike aircraft also worked successfully.

The Air Force's Su-24m aircraft dropped at least four destructive bombs on tank columns, mechanized equipment columns, and motor convoys of fuel and lubricants in the Chernihiv Oblast and near Berdyansk. Bayraktar TB crews also carried out special activities," the ministry said.
