Over 1,000 Azerbaijanis evacuated from Ukraine to Romania

More than 1,000 Azerbaijanis were evacuated from Ukraine to Romania this morning, Vagif Hasanov, head of the Azerbaijani Diaspora Organization in Romania, e-huquq.az informs.

He said that the embassy staff had allocated places to accommodate them:

"Their list will be compiled. They will be sent to Azerbaijan via Turkey by bus on a first-served basis. Some want to buy a ticket and leave for Azerbaijan by route Bukhara-Istanbul-Baku. They will travel themselves."
