The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has issued an operative report on the situation in the country, e-huquq.az informs.

The ministry said that the Russian side had regrouped its units.

Russia is reportedly trying to complete the transfer of military equipment to airfields near Ukraine's eastern border:

"They place their equipment and manpower in residential houses. This is a violation of international humanitarian law. The military of the opposite side is fighting in civilian clothes. There is no change in the enemy's actions in the direction of Volyn and Polesia. Russia is completing the deployment of separate units from the north to the eastern operational zone. Units of the 41st General Army of the Central Military District are being relocated to Belgorod and Voronezh regions. The partial siege of Kharkiv continues. The opposite side conducts aerial surveillance to determine the positions of our units and their routes."

According to the Ukrainian ministry, there are signs that the Russian army is strengthening air defense systems in occupied Melitopol and Ilovaisk: "The Russian forces will likely try to capture the city of Mariupol, Popasna and attack Kurakhove to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk region. They do not give up their efforts to strengthen the administrative borders of the Kherson region. In the waters of the Black and Azov Seas, Russian naval groups continue to carry out tasks to isolate the area where the hostilities are taking place, and to fire on reconnaissance and ground units. The threat of their use of missiles still remains. Six Russian attacks were repelled in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Four tanks, five armored vehicles, 26 cars, and eight artillery systems were hit. Also, one Russian plane, two helicopters, and four UAVs were destroyed over the past day."
