Number of children killed during war in Ukraine reaches 198

198 children have been killed and 355 wounded as a result of Russia's military intervention in Ukraine, e-huquq.az informs, citing Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office.

Some 548 children have been wounded since the beginning of the war.

The highest number of children suffered in Donetsk, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia provinces and the cities of Kyiv, Sumy and Zhytomyr.

The prosecutor general's office said these figures were not final, as the collection of data about children in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories of Ukraine continues.

According to the information, 1,014 educational facilities in Ukrainian cities and villages were damaged and 91 were completely destroyed by bombing by the Russian troops.
