Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine: 263 children killed due to hostilities in country

Since the start of full-scale hostilities in Ukraine, 263 children have been killed and more than 467 have been injured, e-huquq.az informs referring to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

“Children suffered the most due to Russian aggression in the Donetsk region - 190, Kyiv - 116, Kharkiv - 112, Chernihiv - 68, Luhansk - 53, Kherson - 52, Mykolaiv - 47, Zaporizhzhia - 29, Sumy - 17, Kyiv - 16, Zhytomyr - 15,” the message says.

According to UNICEF, about 100 children died in Ukraine in April alone, but the real numbers could be much higher.

In addition, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, more than 900,000 children have left for the EU countries and Moldova.
