Hulusi Akar: 3,585 terrorists have been neutralized since start of 2022

The Turkish Armed Forces neutralized 3,585 terrorists since the beginning of this year, Turkish Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar said, e-huquq.az informs, citing the local press.

According to him, 36,854 terrorists have been killed in northern Iraq and Syria since 2015: "Operation Claw-Sword, which began on November 19, is the largest-scale operation organized against terrorists in recent times."

Akar said the Turkish army continues to fight against terrorists with the principle of "border is honor": "We continue to destroy terrorists within and across our borders. The borders are guarded 24 hours a day, seven days a week."
