According to the Council of Europe Office in Baku, the CEPEJ has developed two important documents in the framework of its project to support the improvement of the enforcement system in Azerbaijan, e-huquq.az stated.

The documents were drafted by the CEPEJ experts Mr. Mathieu Chardon and Mr. Jos Uitdehaag, based on the results of online assessments with national stakeholders conducted by local consultants on the basis of questionnaires.

The first one identifies specific performance indicators in the enforcement system aimed to support broader monitoring and control over all requirements of the enforcement system: Recommendations on setting up a system of enforcement timeframes and recovery rates as indicators on the efficiency of the enforcement system and in view of evaluating enforcement agents’ performance

The other document analyses the current use of ICT in the enforcement system and provides, based on the experience and best practices in other countries, recommendations on further developments of ICT solutions : Expert advice on the development of ICT solutions to support the national enforcement system of Azerbaijan

These documents have been developed within the framework of CEPEJ cooperation project "Strengthening the efficiency and quality of the judicial system in Azerbaijan" under the joint programme “Partnership for Good Governance II (PGG II)”, co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
