On the initiative of Anar Baghirov, CCBE announced a campaign to help Turkiye

The Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) will help lawyers affected by the earthquake in Turkiye.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Anar Baghirov, in a statement e-huquq.az.

According to him, a relief campaign has already been announced.

Chairman said: “Recently, I have addressed the management of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe with a request to support the Union of Bar Associations of Turkiye, a member of the organization. I believe that it is very important that all member countries of the organization support their colleagues who have suffered during the earthquake in Turkiye. Detailed information on this was duly submitted to the CCBE. The organization has already announced an action to help Turkiye."
