The Bar Association spread information on lawyers called up for military service

All lawyers called up for military service on mobilization are fully exempt from membership fees and maintenance costs.

According to e-huquq.az that the Bar Association reported about it.

It says on the information:

"Armenia's new act of aggression against Azerbaijan on September 27 has provoked the Armenian side in recent months, including the attempted attack in the direction of Tovuz on July 12-16, sabotage in the direction of Goranboy on August 23, the policy of illegal settlement in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. It is a continuation of the provocative statements and activities of the Armenian leadership.

The Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan carry out counter-offensive and retaliatory measures within the framework of the right to self-defense and in full compliance with international humanitarian law in order to prevent further Armenian military aggression and to ensure the security of the civilian population living close to the line of contact.

The Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan also extends its condolences to the families of our soldiers and officers killed as a result of provocation by the Armenian armed forces. At the same time, as a corps of lawyers, we are confident that we are always ready to fight for the protection of the territorial integrity of our country.

There are also numerous appeals from our lawyers who want to go to the frontline voluntarily to fight and provide the necessary assistance. In this connection, all our lawyers called up for military service are fully exempted from membership fees and detention costs.

We strongly condemn this act of atrocity by the Armenian side, and the international community must demand that Armenia stop the war crimes committed by the occupying country targeting the civilian population of Azerbaijan".
