"As the Turkish Bar Association, Azerbaijan's just struggle is a national struggle for us. Whatever the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan demands on any issue, we will be together with our brothers before ourselves work.

The statement made by the chairman of the Turkish Bar Association Metin Feyzioglu, e-huquq.az reports.

He said that when the Armenian Bar Association appealed to the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE), its purpose was to rule against Azerbaijan in its absence.
“The Turkish Bar Association is an observer member of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe. When we became aware of this attempt by Armenia, we complained to Armenia, presenting the decisions of the United Nations Security Council and all international documents. We asked the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe to condemn Armenia. Probably, the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe, which was preparing to condemn Azerbaijan, said that it did not interfere in this issue after our step and withdrew.

If my dear brother Anar Bagirov wants, we, as the Turkish Bar Association, will do everything to support our colleagues in Azerbaijan during the European Court of Human Rights.
