Irada Javadova and several other lawyers’ duties will be reinstated effective tomorrow

The next meeting of the Presidium of the Bar Association was held today in a video conference format.

According to e-huquq.az, opening the meeting, Chairman of the Board Association Anar Bagirov informed about the current activities of the Board, strengthening the material and technical base of lawyers in order to improve the activities of lawyers, the work done in connection with the construction and repair work, some issues were discussed.

At the meeting of the Presidium, the issues related to the transfer of lawyers to another bar association, release from termination of membership were considered and a positive decision was made.

In particular, the meeting considered the appeals of lawyers infected with the COVID-19 virus, suffering from the disease and appealed to the Board, and made relevant decisions on providing them with financial support in the form of money.
On the eve of Ramadan, the meeting decided to suspend the advocacy duties of Irada Javadova, Shahla Humbatova and Turkel Suleymanli, to dismiss the lawsuits against them and to resume their duties.

Besides, a number of disciplinary issues were considered and relevant decisions were made during the meeting. In the end, other issues related to the activities of the Bar Association were considered and relevant decisions were made.
