Azerbaijan’s MFA calls on international community to strongly condemn Armenian provocations

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan called on the international community to strongly condemn the Armenian provocations, e-huquq.az informs.

It was noted that on August 31 and September 1, the Armenian side resorted to military provocation once again.

As reported, Armenian armed forces units in the direction of Zod settlement fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani Army located in the territory of the Kalbajar district using UAVs and small arms.

“Three servicemen were wounded in this deliberate provocation against the positions of the Azerbaijani side.

"Such acts by Armenia aiming to divert attention from the tense political and social situation in the country, as well as to mislead the international community, should be strongly condemned by the international community.

"All responsibility for the provocations caused by Armenia lies with this country.

"Azerbaijan will continue to take all necessary measures to prevent such provocations,” the ministry said.
