State Service: There will be 9 non-working days in Azerbaijan regarding Novruz Holiday

"According to decision of the Cabinet of Ministers "On the determination of dates of Novruz, Ramadan, and Eid al-Adha for 2022," March 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 of 2022 is Novruz Holiday," said head of press service of State Labor Inspection Aynur Osmangizi, e-huquq.az reports.

According to her, as March 20 coincide with Sunday, under Clause 5 of Article 105 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, working and non-working days will be replaced, March 25 will be a non-working day.

Thus, as March 19, 26, 27 coincide with Saturday and Sunday, 9 consecutive days (March 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27) will be non-working days regarding Novruz Holiday.
