MoD: Heavy blows inflicted on the enemy, important territories and heights seized

On October 22 and on the night of October 23, the combat operations in the Aghdara-Aghdam, Fizuli-Hadrut-Jabrayil, and Gubadli directions continued with varying intensity.

The enemy fired at our defensive positions using small arms, mortars, and howitzers, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's press service told e-huquq.az.

As a result of the operations carried out by the Azerbaijani Army, serious blows were inflicted on the Armenian armed forces in the Fuzuli, Jabrayil, and Gubadli directions of the front. Units of our Army destroyed several enemy strongholds and seized important territories and heights.

The Azerbaijani Army caused irreparable damage to the enemy's leading resources and military infrastructure along the entire front. There is a shortage of military equipment, weapons, ammunition, and food in the enemy units. The enemy practically lost control of the troops: "Due to the lack of regular army units to defend combat positions, civilians are forcibly brought in to replace them.

It turned out that the military personnel brought to Nagorno-Karabakh from the Tavush and Sisian regions of Armenia refused to participate in the battles and fled their positions.

Currently, fighting continues on the entire front.
