"Why does Western media continue to fabricate against Azerbaijan and its leader, instead of talking about Armenia's war crimes against civilians in Barda, Ganja and other cities of Azerbaijan?" There is only one answer - because they are concerned about a strong Azerbaijan, which is restoring the country's territorial integrity. If this were not the case, the West would be concerned about the overcrowding of Armenian prisons during Pashinyan's rule, the arrest and criminal prosecution of former presidents, and all this would not go unnoticed. As a result, this impunity led to more serious crimes, and war crimes were added to Pashiyan's crimes. The responsibility for these crimes lies not only with Pashinyan, but also with Western circles and organizations that brought him to power and turned a blind eye to his crimes. "
According to the e-huquq.az, political scientist Yusif Bagirzade stated this, commenting on the situation with the dictatorial regime established by the Pashinyan government in Armenia.
He said that after the victory of Azerbaijan, Nikol Pashinyan, who came to power as a result of the revolution, demonstrated to the world the dictatorial regime that he established under the guise of democracy by arresting, oppressing and threatening all opposition members who blamed his for the disaster.
“Some Western circles that presented Nikol Pashinyan, who came to power in May 2018, as a "democratic leader", today do not say anything about the criminalization of Armenia, do not make statements and criticize Armenia”. If the same events took place in Azerbaijan, today we would witness a number of statements at different levels. As for Armenia, there is silence, and the relevant international organizations remain silent, acting on the principle of "we are deaf-blind-dumb". There is only one reason for all this. The name of this reason is double standards. "
The political scientist noted that, in fact, the so-called democratic world today ignores the mass arrests and persecutions in Armenia, acts as if nothing has happened, and does not address any questions to the Pashinyan government in this regard: “Because the task of various international organizations, managed by specific centers, has been and still is related to the policy of defaming Azerbaijan. For example, today's statements of open support of France and Canada to Armenia clearly reflect the true face and essence of the ruling circles of these countries. "
