Hikmat Hajiyev: Azerbaijan ready to discuss peace treaty with Armenia

Azerbaijan is ready to discuss a peace treaty with Armenia, but this requires justice, including for Khojaly, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev said at a conference in Baku dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, e-huquq.az informs.

“During the Patriotic War, it was clear that Armenia didn’t change its strategy. Armenia attacked peaceful and sleeping Azerbaijanis,” he reminded.

According to Hajiyev, tragedies similar to that in Khojaly occurred in other settlements of Azerbaijan during the occupation, but they were not told about. “There are still places of mass graves and we called on Armenia to tell about them,” he added.

Earlier, a mass grave of Azerbaijanis was discovered in the Edilli village of the Khojavand district.
