The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan once again appealed to Azerbaijani citizens permanently and temporarily residing in Ukraine and visiting the country for tourism or education purposes, urging them to stay away from troops and military facilities, stay at home, or in a safe place, and refrain from traveling, e-huquq.az informs.
"Due to the closure of Ukraine's airspace, our citizens are currently unable to leave the country by air. In this regard, we state that the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who face a serious threat, can enter the territory of the Republic of Moldova by land through the border checkpoints Ocnita and Palanca.
"The Moldovan side will not require a COVID-19 passport (document confirming complete vaccination against COVID-19 or immunity to COVID-19) and a negative PCR test for COVID-19 from Azerbaijani citizens wishing to cross the land border due to the humanitarian situation.
"If you have any questions, you can contact the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Moldova by calling +373 781 81 361, +373 789 91 849, +373 222 32 277 and by e-mail [email protected].
