EU to mull new sanctions package against Russia

The foreign ministers of the EU countries will meet in Luxembourg today to discuss further steps due to the situation in Ukraine, including anti-Russian sanctions, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.

According to him, the sanctions are always on the agenda, and discussions on Ukraine always provide for discussing the effectiveness of these sanctions.

He said that the next package had been approved, and the ministries would discuss further steps.
