Pakistani PM sends letter to Azerbaijani counterpart

The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, has sent a letter to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, e-huquq.az informs, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.

In the congratulatory letter, the Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed his satisfaction that the brotherly relations between the two countries have turned into a strong and multifaceted partnership with increased cooperation in political, economic and security fields during the past period.

It was emphasized that Pakistan firmly supported Azerbaijan's position on the former Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

The letter also said that Pakistan is determined to deepen and expand cooperation with Azerbaijan for the interests of both nations.
