President Ilham Aliyev: There is a high-level political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Britain

"I believe that we should already look at other areas than energy - trade, increasing mutual trade, tourism, and contacts between people. I think that cooperation in the field of education has good results," said President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as he received credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Fergus Auld, e-huquq.az reports.

The head of state said that, as you know, many Azerbaijanis studied and continue to study in Great Britain:

"However, this cooperation needs dynamics and a certain framework. In general, we are very pleased with the level of our partnership. For many years, there has been a high-level political dialogue, respect for mutual interests, and close cooperation in a number of areas between Azerbaijan and Great Britain.”
