Singer composed a song on Azerbaijan-Turkey-Pakistan friendship: "Azerbaijan is our second homeland" – INTERVIEW

Pakistani singer Asad Qureshi performed a song embodying the friendship of Pakistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan. The song was shot and had become quite popular on YouTube. The title of song is "Heart is Turkey, Pakistan; Life is Azerbaijan". First of all, we appreciate the song which was composed in Pakistan.

E-huquq.az reports that Pakistani singer, Asad Qureshi shares his feelings about the song.

- Mr. Asad Qureshi, first of all I would like to thank you and appreciate your support of our country?

- I am honored with reaction of Azerbaijani people to this song.

- Who came up with an idea of composing this song? What was your goal in compose? Can you say about songs history?

- I prepared this song six months ago and an idea of composing it came up by me. We were very honored when Turkish President Erdogan came to Pakistan. Erdogan is very famous in all the world, especially in Pakistan. When Erdogan came to Pakistan, his arrival gave me the idea to compose this song. We prepared this song in which Turkish and Azerbaijani culture will be promoted and then we came up with an idea and wrote lyrics, composition and then music. After all this we decided to record this song

- We see support from Pakistan every time. Why do you love us, our country? Have you been in our country?

- Azerbaijan is our second homeland. Pakistan is in love with Azerbaijan a lot. After this song I feel all these emotions myself and I am grateful, honored with the reaction of Azerbaijani people. I can't say how many people in Azerbaijan watched and loved this song. I will surely feel honored if Azerbaijani government and state will invite me, I will come there with my friends, band who performs this song and I would like to visit Baku. Your capital, Baku is very famous in Pakistan and is a very beautiful city. Baku is like mini-Dubai and if Azerbaijani government invite me, I will come with honor. I wish to visit Azerbaijan on state invitation.

- What would you like to say to our followers in the end?

The Azerbaijani people helped Turkish and Pakistani in their bad times. It is commendable. I think that, my song will build more strong relationship between Pakistan & Azerbaijan. Pakistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan Friendship Zindabad.
