Taleh Kazimov: Currently, CBA goal is to reduce inflation

Currently, the goal of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) is to reduce inflation, Taleh Kazimov, CBA chairman, said at a press conference, e-huquq.az informs.

"If inflation decreases much more in the future than we expect, if it negatively impacts economic activity, we will try to influence the market through the discount rate. We can increase or decrease our notes in circulation. Certain expectations have already been formed in the market regarding these notes," he said.
