Low temperature, intense rain expected in Azerbaijan - WARNING

The weather will change sharply, the temperature will drop, and heavy rain will fall in Azerbaijan, e-huquq.az informs, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

After the relatively mild weather conditions that are not typical for November in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula lasting several days, the weather conditions will change from November 27 to 28, the north wind will occasionally increase to 20-23 m/s, and it is expected to rain intermittently.

Weather conditions will worsen from November 29 to December 2, and precipitation will intensify during this period.

The temperature is expected to decrease daily and will be 7-9C warm during the day. The temperature is 7° higher than the climate normal.

Starting from the northern and western regions of the country on November 26, it is expected that the weather will be unstable and rain occasionally. It may be intense in some places, and it will snow in mountainous areas.

From the evening of November 28 to December 1, there is a possibility that the process will intensify and the intensity of precipitation will increase.

Wind: The north wind will occasionally increase to 20-25 m/s in some places to 27-28.

Temperature: Starting from November 28, the temperature will decrease daily. It is expected to be 6-11C in the lowland regions and 0-5C frost in the mountainous regions.

In rivers: Water level is likely to increase.
