Despite repeated warnings, individuals still attempt to cross the liberated territories illegally. Such dangerous journeys result in mine deaths or lifelong injuries.

E-huquq.az informs, citing the Interior Ministry's press service, that on July 8, residents of Fuzuli district Nuru Nuriyev and Elnur Hashimov were hit by an anti-personnel mine while walking in the direction of the liberated village of Ashagi Abdurahmanli and received severe injuries.

At present, police, Internal Troops, and ANAMA specialists are taking urgent measures to evacuate them from the scene.

Notably, Nuru Nuriyev, who was seriously injured by a landmine explosion today, was detained by police and sentenced to 30 days in February while trying to cross the liberated territory.
