Representation training in arbitration to be organized for lawyers and attorneys

Within the framework of the EU-funded project "Alternative Dispute Resolution and Additional Support for the Development of Specialized Courts", various measures are planned to develop arbitration in Azerbaijan.

These activities include international conferences, initial arbitration training and training of arbitration lawyers, e-huquq.az reports.

Trainings on representation of the parties in arbitration will be held on September 14 and 15, 2021 for lawyers and attorneys. Juli Spinelli, an international arbitrator and arbitration lawyer, and Ruslan Mirzayev, an international arbitration lawyer, will participate in the trainings as trainers.The languages of the training are Azerbaijani and English.The training will discuss the arbitration agreement, the filing of a claim in arbitration, the response to the claim, the legal force of the arbitral award and similar topics.

It is planned that 50 people will take part in the trainings. Participants must have higher legal education and more than 5 years of practical legal experience. Preference will be given to those with experience in commercial law.

People wishing to participate in the training are asked to send a CV and motivation letter in Azerbaijani or English language to adrazerbaijan@gmail.com by August 25, 2021. Selection will be based only on the submitted CV and cover letter.
