The first stage of awareness courses on consumer rights for mediators held

The first stage of an awareness course on consumer rights for mediators organized by the State Service for Antimonopoly Control and Supervision of the Consumer Market under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Mediation Council was held.

Mayil Ahmad, a member of the Disciplinary Commission of the Mediation Council, told e-huquq.az.

Ramin Garashov, head of the Consumer Protection Department, spoke as a speaker on the first day of the course, which will be held from March 1 to March 5. He informed the mediators on the theme “Information on the State Service for Antimonopoly Control and Supervision of Consumer Market under the Ministry of Economy, the concept of consumers and the basic rights and responsibilities of consumers."

The course was conducted online with the participation of 30 mediators.

At the end, it was discussed cases related to the topic.
