The first part of awareness courses on consumer rights protection for mediators has been completed

The first part of consumer protection awareness courses for mediators organized by the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy, the Justice Academy of the Ministry of Justice and the Mediation Council has been completed and certificates have been awarded to mediators.

E-huquq.az reports that, speaking at the event, Chief of the State Service Mammad Abbasbayli said that the establishment of strong and sustainable cooperation between the Service and the Mediation Council will increase efficiency in the field of consumer protection and, as a result, ensure citizen satisfaction. The head of the Service also informed about the activities of the organization and spoke about the prospects for cooperation with the Academy of Justice in the field of economic justice.

Acting Rector of the Justice Academy of the Ministry of Justice Elchin Khalafov thanked the State Service for the high level of training. He noted that the organization of such training will increase the knowledge and experience of mediators, make their activities more effective and, as a result, reduce the workload of the courts.

Chairman of the Mediation Council Nadir Adilov stressed the importance of continued cooperation with the State Service. He said that the effectiveness of the first training, the information load will be important in the protection of consumer rights.

It should be noted that the training aimed at increasing the knowledge and skills of mediators lasted for a week. The Civil Service employees provided detailed information on consumer rights protection, natural monopolies, consumer market control, and the basic principles of quality infrastructure.
